Highly Advanced inverter technology makes the unit one of the most cost effective units currently available on the market.  An Inverter works by converting the AC current in your mains into a DC current, this allows the unit to speed up and slow down the compressor, depending on how much cooling is needed in the room.

On very warm days the compressor will be running at full speed to cool the room down quickly, however once it has reached the desired temperature in the room it will slow the compressor down so it is simply 'ticking over' to keep the room at a constant comfortable temperature.  This saves energy as there is no large start up induction load on the circuits and will cost you up to 70% less to run than some non-inverter air conditioning units.
