When air conditioning systems are installed, the most common way to route the required pipework from the inside unit to the outside unit, is to attach it to the outside of a property. Some people don't wish to see this ugly pipework on the outside of their home and that is where TRUNKING comes into play. This plastic covering is designed to attach over the top of the pipework, so all you can see is a smoothly finished covering, similar in apperance to ordinary guttering or waterpipes.
